Inner Peace

If there is to be peace in the world, there must be peace in the nations.

If there is to be peace in the nations, there must be peace in the cities.

If there is to be peace in the cities, there must be peace between neighbors.

If there is to be peace between neighbors, there must be peace in the home.

If there is to be peace in the home, there must be peace in the heart.

– Lao Tzu

One of the most difficult states to feel consistently is what we call "inner peace".

It's a mind-body-spirit concept: if we are in balance on all levels of our being, then we feel "at peace". We're eating well, sleeping well (body in balance). We're meditating, tuning in, and living our life purpose (spirit in balance). We're journaling out our inner thoughts & visions and communicating well with loved ones (mind and emotions in balance). Essentially, we're doing all the "right things" and feel good about that.

However, Inner Peace as a concept is also an energetic blueprint. As such, you can entrain your own energy with it. Think of it this way--when you put on "gardening clothes" you're a gardener, tending to plants and growing flowers and vegetables. When you put on work clothes, you're heading to the office (if it's a suit) or the job site (if it's jeans, flannel, and boots). You become that role or that Self. You feel like a gardener, carpenter, doctor, assistant, teacher, etc. The "appropriate clothing" concept is a little oversimplified here, but you get the idea: we become what we envision (create). The vision has meaning. It shapes and defines.

So, when you align with the energy of Inner Peace, you are, in a way, dressing yourself with the garb (energetic blueprint) of Inner Peace. You are shaping your energy field as Inner Peace and thus become it through and through. You feel peaceful. You emit peacefulness.

The more you align with that peaceful feeling, the easier you become it. You can shift into it with greater ease. And you share it more, too.

This is not to say there won't be incidents or accidents or utterly infuriating happenings in the world around you which will, undoubtedly, be disturbing and impact your inner peace with all kinds of emotions. But by cultivating inner peace, you will, perhaps, be less likely to feel so swayed by turbulent energies and emotions (within and without). And you will, as Lao Tzu suggests, create more peace in our world. Which we need so much!

By holding peace in your heart (whenever you can!), you are emitting the energetic blueprint of Peace--you are generating Peace. Not just for yourself, but for others, too, because the Heart Chakra is both an emitter and a receiver; an amplifier and a giver--what you feel will register in the emotional body of those around you, Heart to Heart, consciously or unconsciously.

Be Peace.

With Love and Light,

Donna
